Camp Nock A Mixon – Boy Saved

This past summer, a 17 year old boy collapsed and went into sudden cardiac arrest at Camp Nock A Mixon.  This camp is about 25 minutes from our house and we know several families that attend.  Cody was later diagnosed with Wolf Parkinson White disease.  He was not symptomatic.  However, he almost learned that this condition could kill him.

This condition is detectable with an ECG exam.  This test is affordable and non-invasive.  We provide them for free at our screening.  Shouldn’t we screen all of our children?

Here’s the story.
